Content : Serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25 (OH) D) were determined in 276 (103 Malays and 173 Chinese) postmenopausal women, aged 50 to 65 years. The level of 25 (OH) D was significantly lower in the postmenopausal Malay women (44.4 ± 10.6 nmol/L) compared to the Chinese women (68.8 ± 15.7 nmol/L) (P<0.05).
